Welcome to the WLPOA section! We will share information with the entire community by posting information in this unique portion of the neighborhood website. In the future, we will publish a Member Directory, Rules and Regulations, Meeting Minutes, and other pertinent information. You may use this section to email the Board with your comments and concerns, as well as requests for agenda for upcoming meetings. This is a great forum to reach all of the members of the neighborhood! We encourage you to embrace this portion of the neighborhood website! Walnut Lake Sub One Social Events ****************************************************************************************************************************To enjoy our beautiful beach and facilities, and friendly and diverse homeowner population, we encourage regular social gatherings during the year. ************************************************************** AS THESE EVENTS WILL NOT TAKE PLACE WITHOUT VOLUNTEERS, WE ALL ENCOURAGE AND APPRECIATE EVERY ONE OF YOU WHO GIVES A SMALL AMOUNT OF YOUR TIME TO HELP. All members are encouraged to volunteer their time and become involved in one or all aspects of any of the following social events, or one of your creation. ************************************************************** ------------------------------- ICE CREAM SOCIAL—Last Day of school ------------------------------- ITALIAN NIGHT—A catered dinner during the summer at the beach FAMILY DAY & CAMP OUT—At the beach, it traditionally includes a volleyball, ping pong fishing tournament. Families bring tents and food to camp down at the beach. ------------------------------- PANCAKE BREAKFAST—A very popular morning after Family Day (and, if we are lucky, other mornings) ------------------------------- NEIGHBORHOOD GARAGE SALE ------------------------------- FAMILY DAY & SILENT AUCTION-This popular family event features a bike parade, barbeque pot luck and silent auction to raise money for Association needs. ------------------------------- FOURTH OF JULY & VENETIAN NIGHT—Picnic and boat decorations into the evening ------------------------------- FAMILY CAMPOUT, FISHING TOURNAMENT & PANCAKE BREAKFAST ------------------------------- BONFIRE, SING ALONG & SMORES! ------------------------------- MEXICAN NIGHT (Dinner) ------------------------------- INTERNATIONAL NIGHT—A pot luck featuring favorite recipes from our family traditions ------------------------------- VOLLEYBALL GAMES—Every Friday evening from Memorial Day to Labor Day 7:00-9:00 ------------------------------- HALLOWEEN NIGHT TRICK OR TREAT PARADE AND PIZZA DINNER ------------------------------- HOLIDAY PROGRESSIVE DINNER ------------------------------- NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY |
